ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The global emphasis on environmental sustainability has increased significantly in the recent past. The initiatives towards this concern by the Government of India, citizens and industries accelerated the development of environmentally benign materials, products and processes. Nowadays, chemical industries are striving hard to implement the energy efficient and eco-friendly technologies. On the other hand, the emphasis is on the utilization of well-manageable renewable and recycled resources for the development of various materials for environmental improvement throughout the lifecycle without any reduction in the performance. It is evident that the engineers/scientists need to play a vital role on this issue. This conference aims to impart knowledge and to have constructive deliberations on the technologies to be developed to achieve these important goals. Importantly, this conference will connect the dots by integrating scientists and engineers with different background and help to identify environmentally friendly materials or evolve novel products, through innovative processes.
